What is CSA?

CSA is an acronym that stands for Community Supported Agriculture, meaning that the consumer and the farmer can have a closer connection through the consumer subscribing to a farm or grouping of farms. Allowing the consumer and farmer to share in the benefits and risks of a farming season. A CSA system allows for a deeper connection between farmers and their members while providing a higher quality of produce on a local scale often with a greater focus soil health, heirlooms and overall biodiversity.

Back to Basics

Just keeping to the classic kitchen staples and nothing too strange. You can expect bell peppers, classic red slicing tomatoes along with gorgeous paste and cherry varieties. As for greens keeping it simple with spinach, kale, and a nice sweet spring mix. Carrots and radishes will make an appearance as well as some simple herbs, like basil and cilantro.

No Shade Here

A box made for those who do not eat anything from the nightshade family (see peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, and tomatillo) but don't worry these boxes will be filled with wonderful fresh greens, cabbages, peas, kohlrabi, and even more great options.

Anything Goes

This is most definitely the option for those adventurous or confident, or even just wanting to try something new in the kitchen. You'll be treated to any and everything we grow this season from the Mesclun lettuce mix to Shishito peppers and even some gorgeous red okra. This box has no limitations, just like the number of potential new recipes and creations you can make with this produce.

Just the Right Spice

a sub-type of Anything Goes, this choice will feature some of our produce with more heat and spice to it, such as mustard greens, hot peppers. And a wide selection of radishes. This box will still have any of our other produce too, just with a tendency to receive items with a bit more kick.

Delivery or Pick-Up Available

Just like previous years we will continue to offer either Saturday pick-up at the YLNI Farmer's Market downtown Fort Wayne (9am-1pm) or Friday afternoon delivery. Our delivery area includes Avilla and South in the greater Fort Wayne area.
